Protection Administrator

After leaving school in 1981, I began my career in banking, progressing from office junior to branch manager over 20 years while also qualifying as a mortgage adviser and raising three children. I later changed direction to work in secondary education, supporting vulnerable students, a role I found incredibly rewarding. During this time, I completed a degree in education and worked in pupil referral units until 2015. I then returned to financial services as a mortgage administrator and have since transitioned into protection administration, which I am thoroughly enjoying.

Outside work, I enjoy weekends with my husband, eating out, cinema trips, and spending time with our children and grandchildren.  Fun fact – am still an adrenaline junkie and in recent years have paraglided from Babadag mountain in Turkey, done a 15,000 ft tandem parachute jump in aid of charity and abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
